Preikestolen

Preikestolen, which was formed more than 10.000 years ago is the most iconic natural landmark in Norway. From the top of the 604 metres high cliff, you will find the most dramatic views that Fjord Norway has to offer.

 The hike to Preikestolen is of moderate difficulty. In total, the 8-kilometer hike takes about 4-5 hours (round trip). The trail, which has significant shifts in terrain, includes swampland, forests, and stone stairways built by Nepalese sherpas. 🇳🇴 Preikestolen 🇳🇴 Gestern ging es für uns zum Preikestolen, vermutlich DIE bekannteste Wanderung Norwegens. Als wir gegen 8 Uhr auf dem Parkplatz ankamen, war der Wohnmobilbereich schon fast voll. Auf dem Weg nach oben verteilte sich es allerdings noch ganz gut, uns kamen auch nur vereinzelt Leute entgegen. Der Weg ist eigentlich gut begehbar, dementsprechend sind unter den Wanderern alle Altersgruppen vertreten und auch für Hunde ist der Weg gut zu bewältigen (es gibt auf dem Weg nach oben auch Wasserstellen). Während wir die Aussicht auf den Preikestolen genossen, und die Sicht immer klarer wurde,füllte sich der Preikestolen langsam mit den ersten Bus-Touristen. Wir fanden einen kleinen Wanderweg, der auf den benachbarten Berg führt, so hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht auf den Preikestolen und den Fjord dahinter. Auf dem Rückweg war es deutlich voller und es war teilweise sehr unangenehm zu laufen. Der Parkplatz kostet übrigens 250 NOK/24h für Wohnmobile. #preikestolen #norwegen #wandern #camping #visitnorway
